About Dr. Janine Canan
Dr. Janine Canan, a Sonoma, California-based psychiatrist, treats adults and children alike, endeavoring to help individuals access their full creativity and self-awareness. As a holistic practitioner of psychiatry, Dr. Canan combines a Western approach with alternative treatments; she has studied under advocates of Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud as well as devotees of Hinduism and Buddhism. Dr. Janine Canan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MD from the New York University School of Medicine.
